Exposed 2001 & 2003-2004

I wanted to make a Team Fortress Classic map that had a forced flow. I wanted to tease the players by placing the flag in wide open view but make it not so easy to get.

I did this by the layout of my map, I allowed for three exit points from all areas of the map, two that reconnected down the line in another room. Players would be able to choose two paths of equal length to the same area.

Tricky parts about this map, was camping. I wanted a defense to be possible, but not godlike once in place. By limiting the area for people to setup defense, and allowing for cover I think I reached my goal.

This map was finished in 2001, at the same time DE_DAM was finished. The same hard drive crash that lost DE_DAM, lost the original TFC Exposed map. This remake is done, if I want a regular 2fort layout. However, I have an idea for a modified Capture point layout I would like to try.

Extra detail and testing need to be released. The remake took around a week to build, working on it 1-2 hours a day now and then... Things go a LOT faster when you know what you want to do :)
