We want to pray as a family of Faith whenever possible, we really care. Birthdays and Anniversary's - Philip Jecmen - November 2 Memorials Received in Loving Memory - For Julia Brunner - From Mrs. and Mrs. Ulm (1st pub.) ** Faith worship / service notes ** Next week's Bible passages: (Sunday Service) For the 24th Sunday after Pentecost: Amos 5:18-24, Psalm 70, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, and Matthew 25:1-13 Theme for today: The confession resounds in every time and place by all believing peoples, tribes, and churches: "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb." (Revelation 7:10). These words emanate from the faith filled saints who belong to Jesus. In His eternal presence, the beloved saints are utterly content in endless service and worship. Saints are the ones forever blessed, comforted, satisfied, and rewarded because their inheritance is the very kingdom of God. Special dates for people or celebrations in the church upcoming None for this week. The Common Cup is back today - For now it will appear on Special "Holy" Days, such as today, All Saints. Please tell Pastor if you would like to partake of it. Yes, yes, the individual cups will always stay. This is a practice we are urged to bring back and make available to any and all. Some Changes on the Web Site: 01) We have added the "Vision Statement" for Faith Lutheran to the Home Page. 02) We have added the "Mission Statement" to the Home Page as well. 03) Newsletter change, see below… Newsletter Changes: Yes, we did produce a Newsletter, but it was sparse and not very regular. In fact, the true "news" of Faith is really imbedded in the Bulletin Notes that are part of the Sunday Worship folder. So starting this week, these bulletin notes will be on the Web, which you will find under the "About Us" drop down section. Now if we need to send out a special note or two, an email will be sent as needed. Let's give this a try. Tree Trim - How about the 29th of November? Looking ahead, it appears we may have more people power this day. Thanksgiving Service - The plan is to have a Thanksgiving Eve worship service on Wednesday, November 25. This will allow for you to prepare and enjoy Thanksgiving Day with friends and family, but still, the night before, have an opportunity to "give thanks" in worship. First Wednesday in Advent is December 2 - Let's schedule a 7 pm service and a potluck dinner before the service. Faith's Comcast Connection appears to be down - We are checking in to it, we did see a line that appeared damaged or cut coming into the building. Voter's Meeting is scheduled - for November 15. This is a yearly budget meeting. We present and vote upon the 2027 budget for Faith.
