PaperTracker 1.9 — Direct Local Installer

This version intentionally does NOT use a DMG.
The earlier DMG path can trigger macOS Gatekeeper's misleading “damaged” alert because the app is not notarized with an Apple Developer ID.

INSTALL
1. Double-click “Build & Install PaperTracker.command”.
2. Enter your Mac administrator password when asked.
3. The installer builds PaperTracker locally, installs it to /Applications, removes quarantine metadata, signs the local build, and opens it.

Your existing PaperTracker database remains in:
~/Library/Application Support/PaperTracker/

Creator: Nima Khodadadi
Website: www.nimakhodadadi.com
Email: nimakhan@berkeley.edu

This build includes a personalized About section and app icon using your photo.

PaperTracker 2.2 — Journal Status Monitor
----------------------------------------
New features:
- Check Status: opens a journal page inside PaperTracker using a persistent WebKit session.
- Sign in once to each journal platform; PaperTracker keeps website cookies but does not save passwords in its manuscript database.
- Check All Active: checks all active manuscripts that have a journal URL.
- Last Checked column and check-result messages are stored with each manuscript.
- Recognizes common states such as Submitted, With Editor, Under Review, Minor/Major Revision, Revision Submitted, Accepted, and Rejected.
- Daily Status Checking: enable from the PaperTracker application menu. It runs at 8:00 AM through a user LaunchAgent.
- macOS notification when an automatically detected status changes.
- macOS notification when a journal login has expired and needs attention.

Important: publisher websites change their layouts and wording. Automatic recognition is best-effort. CAPTCHA, two-factor authentication, expired sessions, or anti-bot pages require manual sign-in through Check Status.

PaperTracker 2.2 adds managed submission files: Title Page, Main Manuscript, Highlights, Highlighted/Tracked Manuscript, Response to Reviewers, and Supplementary/Other. Files carry forward automatically when resubmitting.
