Nina’s Achari recipe Recipe Ingredients: -Oil (1/2 cup), -Onion, finely chopped (1 med or 20 g), -Tomatoes, pasted well (2 large), -Chicken, small pieces (half). For Vegetarian Achari, use Tofu or potatoes. -Ginger & Garlic paste (1/4 Tbsp), -Dahi or Plain Yogurt (1/2 cup), -Lemon Juice (1 Tbsp), -Nina’s Achari Masala (3 Tbsp for mild or 4 Tbsp for med heat) Steps: -Using med-high heat, sauté onions in oil -Add chicken and cook till light brown -Add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and Achari mix. Stir then cover. -Let chicken cook well, about 7-8 min. -Add Dahi yogurt and lemon juice. Simmer for 3-4 minutes -(Optional garnish) Stuff green chili peppers with Achari Masala & few drops of lemon juice. Serve with rice or naan.
