The surveyor started the topographical survey last week, around Dec. 12, 2019. He intends to finish up before the end of December 2019. When the survey is done, he will get it to me and to the civil engineer so that the new drainage plan can be drawn up. Then one of us will take the new drainage plan to the Fremont County Building Department for approval. Maybe in the spring, we might have enough money to pull a permit and get the excavation done according to the approved civil engineer’s drawings. I anticipate that the permit and the excavation - including culverts, rocks, ground fabric and the like - will cost between $15,000 and $20,000. Please post this information on the ISLA website for other people to get this update. And please wish the Indian Springs residents "Happy Holidays from the Deer Mountain Fire Protection District board of directors." Thanks, -Elaine
