Inject the bag and place the bag somewhere warm and DARK. 27degC is perfect for the Germination and incubation of BRF substrate. 25degC is great for grain bags.. If your area is not at this temp day and night please invest in a heat mat with thermostat. this can be purchased at WWW.MUSHBUDDIES.COM Once set you can leave you bag knowing the temps will be maintained. LOWER TEMPS SLOW GROWTH. MUCH HIGHER TEMPS AND ITS DEAD. 2 About two weeks after inoculation, there should be a good size lump of white life. At this point please mix up the bags contents and distribute the white Mycelium throught the Hpoo Mix above. The better you break up and mix up the sub the better. 3 when the cake is fully colonised (white) you will be ready to move your cake into your own Fruiting chamber or into the bag provided. . To fruit This step is very important. 4 Put on your gloves and mask. Use isopropyl alcohol to clean a pair of scissors and cut down all four corners of the colonised bag so it falls away like a bananna skin. 5 You can now slide the fruiting bag over the cake. all the way down. Now you can gently and slowly turn the bag and cake around so the mouth of the bag is up in the air and the cake is standing on its end. 6 Turn your lights 12/12 on and reduce your temps to 23degC. Do Not Open The Fruiting Bag for about 5 days. then from day 6, you will need to add a little mist and fan for 40seconds 3 times a day (Do not spray the cake and stop spraying if you see water build up in the bag) A fine dew on the surface of the cake is what you want to maintain for a massive pinset.
