Hormonal Imbalance.
Hormonal imbalances are often the primary culprit of failed weight loss efforts. Our bodies are incredibly complex and has structures- structures that can quickly experience negative results if not carefully maintained. The delicate balance that impacts our weight loss experience can be disturbed- and at times, diet and exercise alone are not enough to reduce unwanted body fat. Learning about our bodies unique functions is the key to regulating hormonal imbalances and beginning a successful weight loss journey. Along with preventing the loss of extra weight, hormones can actually increase the amount of fat stored in your body while manipulating your appetite and inducing unique cravings for sugary and salty foods. Other negative side effects of irregular hormone activity are an increase in poor eating habits and higher stress levels.
Common health conditions affected by hormones include pre-diabetes or type 2 diabetes, thyroid and other autoimmune disorders, PCOS, high triglycerides and others. Another common hormonal imbalance is irregular leptin levels. Leptins are frequently referred to as “fat hormones” that are created in the fat cells. Individuals who believe they are experiencing leptin irregularity will immediately recognize the positive results of introducing a hormone balancing weight loss pill into their daily routine.
GOLO weight loss products are ideal for managing a variety of hormonal irregularities. GOLO Release is the key to effectively managing the hormones that affect weight. GOLO Release is composed of plant-based ingredients that work together to combat insulin irregularities, regulate glucose levels to promote a healthy weight loss experience.
Beneficial effect of hormone replacement therapy on weight loss in obese menopausal women.
Objective: At the onset of menopause, weight-gain and the aggravation of certain cardiovascular risk factors are frequently observed. The aim of this study was to examine the metabolic effects of combined hormone replacement therapy (17beta-oestradiol transdermic 50 microg for 21 days and oral medroxyprogesterone acetate 5 mg from day 10 to 21) using, in particular, indirect calorimetry.
Methods: Patients (21; 12 substituted and nine controls) were studied twice (3 months apart) during an oral glucose load (75 g).
Conclusions: Combined hormone replacement therapy not only prevented weight-gain, but favored weight-loss by significantly increasing lipid oxidation after 3 months of treatment. It also favourably influenced the insulin response, plasma lipids and energy expenditure.
