1. Remove all weight → click TARE on main page
2. Place known weight → enter it below → click CALIBRATE Important: New calibration factor will be very small (usually 0.0001–0.01 range) — this is normal!
Used to convert drum RPM to engine RPM in fixed-ratio inertia setups.
Example: Engine spins at 10,000 RPM, drum at 1,000 RPM → Ratio = 10.0
Used when no drum RPM sensor is available or auto-detection is unreliable.
How this ratio works:
• Brake Roller Hall mode: Display RPM = Roller RPM × Ratio
• Engine Hall mode (no roller signal): Virtual Roller RPM = Engine RPM ÷ Ratio
Example: If engine spins 4× faster than roller → enter 4.0
How many times the hall sensor triggers per full crankshaft revolution.
• 1 = single magnet/tooth (most common)
• 0.5 = ignition coil signal (fires once every 2 crank revs)
• Other: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
Number of triggers per full revolution of the brake roller/drum (pin 5).
• 10 is common for multi-magnet setups
• 1 for single magnet (less common)
• Higher if using multi-tooth wheel or encoder
Higher for quick 2-stroke spool-up (0.5–0.8), lower for smooth 4-stroke (0.2–0.3). Default: 0.18
Minimum time between engine hall sensor pulses to ignore electrical noise.
• 500-1000µs for clean signals
• 1500-3000µs for noisy environments
Default: 1400µs
Minimum time between drum hall sensor pulses to ignore electrical noise.
• 100-200µs for clean signals
• 300-600µs for noisy environments
Default: 220µs
Number of samples used for median filtering to remove outliers.
• 3 = Least smoothing, fastest response
• 5 = Default, good balance
• 7 or 9 = More smoothing, slower response Note: Must be an odd number.
Accounts for power losses in chain, sprockets and gearbox.
Typical values:
• Simple chain drive: 93–96%
• Chain + gearbox/CVT: 88–93%
• Worn chain/sprockets: 85–90%
Set to 100% to disable correction (show wheel power).
Prevents false readings from sensor noise. Set based on your drum size:
• 30cm drum: ~3,200 RPM • 40cm drum: ~2,400 RPM
• 50cm drum: ~1,900 RPM • 60cm drum: ~1,600 RPM
