Harry's son Isador E. was b. c 1895-1897 and Louis' son Isadore Edward (who used the name Edward L. as an adult) was b. 1906. The 1910 census and the 1920 census prove that Louis had a son named Isadore. There is no doubt, because Isadore appears in 1910 as 5 years and again in 1920 as 15 years old. Then in 1930, he disappears from Louis' household and Edward appears in his own household as age 25 with wife Ruth and sons Burton and Larry. Since there is proof in Edward's letter that he is Harry's son, then he must be the same person as Harry's son Isadore in the 1910 and 1920 census. They are both the exact right age and the other facts agree and Isadore has disappeared from the census; there is no other possibility if Edward is Harry's son. In those years, men - and women - usually named their children for their grandparents, g- grandparents, and always their siblings and especially if one had died. That is why I've kept searching for Isadore since you nor Larry had ever heard the name in the family before. I knew it had to be there.
