FRONT SHIM AND TEFLON SPACER FOR TOP SLIDE BRACKET The front shim plate is used if your deck edge trim does not allow the TOON TROLL mount to sit level. Sometimes due to the top edge of deck trim sticking out further than rest of trim, when the hand knob is used to tighten in place with underdeck bracket, the mount is pulled down. The shim can be rotated to use a short edge or long edge for what works best to try to level as best as possible. It can even be slightly higher than level also. See photo of shim in place. TOP SLIDE BRACKET SPACER The spacer is used when either the slide bracket can not be placed on deck edge trim or if due to thick carpeted floor, sliding tab of TOON TROLL mount is difficult. The spacer allows for clearance if mounted behind deck edge trim as well. See photo of slide bracket shim in place.
